Jim Ellis
President, Jim Ellis teaches in the English department at the University of Calgary. He has written widely on queer, British and alternative cinema. His most recent book is Derek Jarman's Angelic Conversations (University of Minnesota Press, 2009), a study of the career of the controversial British artist, writer, activist, gardener and filmmaker.

Charles Tepperman
Vice-President, Charles Tepperman is Coordinator of the Film Studies Program at the University of Calgary. Fascinated by obscure, forgotten, and overlooked facets of motion picture history, he hosted Calgary's first "Home Movie Day" in 2008.

Tricia Leadbeater
Treasurer, Tricia Leadbeater is an Investment Advisor at J.F.Mackie and Company Ltd., joining the firm at its inception in 2000. Prior to a career in the investment industry, Tricia worked in research and teaching positions at the University of Calgary and Dalhousie University. Tricia is a CFA charterholder. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Philosophy from the University of Calgary and a Master of Arts degree in Philosophy from Dalhousie University.

Dale Turri
Board Secretary, Dale Turri is a genuine arts freak with a long history of involvement with the Calgary arts scene. She is currently the Director of Development at Vertigo Theatre and serves on the boards of The Magnetic North Theatre Festival and Ghost River Theatre. She attends an arts event, on average, 4 times a week.

Jolie Bird
Jolie is an obsessed movie watcher. In 2005, feeding her need for film, she opened Bird Dog Video, an independent video store.

Donna Brunsdale
Donna Brunsdale is an artist, filmmaker and teacher. She has exhibited her films and art in galleries and festivals across Canada and abroad. She has taught art and film at several post-secondary institutions and has worked on others' films in several capacities including acting. She lives in Calgary.

Gary Burns
Gary Burns is an internationally recognized writer director of feature films based in Calgary. His film include Kitchen Party, waydowntown and most recently Radiant City.

Mark Hamilton
Mark is a final-year film studies major at the University of Calgary, a process started 13 years ago (albeit with 9 gap years in-between). He also performs songs as Woodpigeon, Spreepark, or The Queen's Manners, depending on his mood and time of day.

Bronwyn Henry
Bronwyn Henry is a television director with 15 years of broadcast experience. After pursuing a Cinema Studies degree at the University of Toronto, Bronwyn headed to Yellowknife NT to work at CBC North. During her 10 years up north she was a founding member and organizer of the Far North Film Festival, an annual celebration of circumpolar films. She has been a Calgary Cinematheque member since 2007.
